Dear God

I am a sinner who knows your love

Who bleeds the pain of this world!

But can never simply kneel to ask you for your healing

There are so many false prophets that when my heart breaks

I would rather bleed in pain rather than kneel and ask for your healing

Day by day I rise a sinner and I choose to forget that you made

Heaven and Earth and as I walk on this earth

I find myself gazing into the heavens ad smiling because

I know that you made this for me

You made the wonders of the world to show me your power

And yet I am too much of a coward to simply kneel and say thank you

Dear God

Please grant me the power to proclaim your love

To do so with every essence of my being

Let those who see me see you

Because you are me and I am the vessel that carries the message of your love

I carry it fourth into this world and yet I am a sinner

Too broken to deserve your love and too weak

To be the one that shall carry and deserve your love

And yet day by day I rise and see your beauty in the heavens

And I know and smile that you simply smiling at me and are saying you are loved

Dear God

Before I ask for your forgiveness for sins committed and those

That shall shackle my being in them because I am weak

I want to simply say thank you

Thank you for giving me breathe every morning for giving me life when the sun rises

Thank you for the beauty I witness day by day as I live

Dear GOD Thank you
