WE SPEAK
We
are the voice of our forefathers
We
echo in the winds of your ignorance
We
bring you chill from the ice stacked
In
the cores of your own cold hearts
We
speak and you tremble
We
speak and you fume
The
voices of the flesh of our people might be silenced
But
their spirits will never be silenced
Because
not even you
As
bulls of the greatest canyon
Have
the power over them
You
might have silenced their voices
But
their actions have spoken louder than their words
They
knew there will be grandchildren like us
Who
would be the carriers of their actions!
And
here we stand as they predicted
Even
though you silence us
As
you did them
Our
actions will speak louder than our words
Echoing
the inevitable that you brought upon us
Proclaiming
enough is enough
As
we unite in honour of those that you thought
You
had triumphed over
