 Truth be told my heart is hurting

My heart bleeds for the truth I never got from you

It bleeds for a situation where I am number one

Cause in the race of life I’m always behind

I thought the words I love you could be uttered by thee

Yet your silence speaks louder than the words you speak

Truth be told the beauty in the world

Has lost its ability to make me smile

Cause if I smile it’s simply to hide this broken heart of mine

A fake smile simply to deceive those who choose to care

I’m losing my ability to forgive and forget

Cause I’ve been hurt so many times

That the death of the thought of you and I

Seems to be the only solution

Therefore this I shall say I’ve lost my ability to care

For someone who don’t share the same sentiments as me   

They say all guys aren’t faithful

Too bad they forgot me on the side of the road

Slowly dying from caring and keeping to my promises

Yet you choose to be blind to this fact

I applaud your acting you got me crying

If this was your mission, I got shot now I’m bleeding

Not for you but for these thoughts to leave my body

Truth be told I never knew what loves was yet I could whole heartedly

I guess in a way that was my mistake

I trusted the devil’s advocate who feed me to the wolves

Take my soul because you deserve it as your trophy

Cause this heart of mine has lied to me again

And fell in a bed of thorns filled with poison

Now my whole body slowly dies

Happiness is a dream that I can never obtain

With people like you in this world

Truth be told; I’m done trying to seek something that doesn’t exist

To me now you don’t exist, just a past memory that stains my mind
